Julie: An American Girl Musical =)
Julie will be the next American Girl doll to have a movie. The information below is from American Girl Collecting.
At a recent press day for Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas confirmed that there are indeed plans for more American Girl movies in the pipeline.
The next American Girl to see her story make it to film? Julie Albright. “We are developing the Julie character,” Goldsmith-Thomas said, “and we’re doing her as a musical, as a high school musical.”
“We’re going to have all those great songs from the ’70s,” she continued. “Julie: An American Girl Musical. It’s [set] in San Francisco.”
The movie is just in outline form as of now, so Goldsmith-Thomas was unable to confirm much more about it, but she did say the music will include both original songs written for the movie as well as music from the 1970s, and that they intend to do more open auditions like they did for Kit Kittredge. “Oh, you betcha,” she said.
This is very exciting! I can’t wait to hear who’s going to play Julie! What do you think about this news?

My agent is Abrams Artists Agency. You can look them up I am not lying. I can promise you someone who does not have an agent or experience will not get a lead part. Plus you have to be represented by SAG Agency ( Screen Actors Guild) to work in movies and it is difficult to get in. Yes I have met Miley Cyrus and she was very nice to me

I just received news that the auditions will be over the summer. They will probably be for the water fountain girls, thats what my agent said. Julie will most likely be a famous face. But, exciting news! I got a walk on in the wizards of waverly place movie and I just finished filming. It was super fun and Selena Gomez was so nice and helpful.

Hey yall:) Did the audditions already hapen? I reallly wanna be in this! Ive been acting since I could talk! I was in a play at Universal Studios when I was 4 but I really wanna get my big break! I can sing really good and have been in musicals and plays all my life. So someone please email or notifie me about them. Also do they have them at the Atlanta American girl place? Thanks bunches

I want to try out for ivy i hav brown hair and eyes but i think im too late :’( can somebody please tell me when Ivy Ling is going to be casted??????
