Lights, Camera Action! Highlights of the Kit Movie
Kit, An American Girl Mystery, is very intriguing with a good plot, although it didn’t stick to the real storyline. Once Francis and Florence have to leave their home because they can’t pay the rent, everything starts breaking into pieces. Kit has to let boarders stay in her house, and sell eggs to make money. Kit’s dad has to go to Chicago to find work, which is like the book in some ways.
I would give the movie 3 1/2 stars out of 4. It had a very good plot, but was a bit disappointing that it wasn’t a lot like the book. What did you think about the movie? If you didn’t see it, do you want to see it?

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ll see it when it comes out on DVD. I didn’t think that it would be much like the books cause most movies aren’t. 😦

I haven’t seen the movie either, since I just came home from camp. I agree with you in the way that I don’t think most movies are as good as the books.

My family thought this movie was terrific. My daughter wrote her own review on our blog:

This was a terrific movie and my daughter loved every minute of it. Sure is refreshing to see that there are still movies out there that really are good quality.
Love the site, btw!

Our 8-year-old loved it. Looks like another DVD we’ll have to buy.
