Introducing Chrissa, Gwen, and Sonali!
Well, first off, Happy New Year to everyone! The new year means a new doll, but this time there are three. We will miss Mia, but she will always be remembered by all. Here are Chrissa and her friends, Sonali and Gwen!
Here is Chrissa, like the pictures I showed you before.
Here is Chrissa’s sundress. It comes with sandals and hair clips.
This is Chrissa’s swimsuit and gear. It comes with a pair of goggles, a matching swim cap, spirit stickers, a kickboard, and a towel.
This is Chrissa’s warm-up set. It comes with a hooded jacket, a tank top, white shorts, slip on sandals, a visor, and a pretend mini IM-Me.
These are Chrissa’s pajamas. It comes with a pair of slippers.
Now here are Chrissa’s friends, Sonali and Gwen:
This is Sonali, one of the bullies at first, but then becomes a great friend of Chrissa’s.
This is Gwen, a shy, quiet girl.
Chrissa’s furniture:
Here is Chrissa’s party table. It includes a festive picnic table with lanterns and pinwheels. You can choose to include her party treats with the table.
This is Chrissa’s craft studio. The set includes:
A bowl that her father made
3 skeins of yarn and 2 knitting needles
A sketch book
A sewing machine that turns on if you push the button
5 thread spools
A sewing table
A pin cushion
A tape measure
A caddy that holds scissors and two pencils
And last but not least, Chrissa’s pet llama, Starburst.

Ruthie is OUT!
Ruthie is out, yes, Ruthie is out! Did you hear me? RUTHIE IS OUT! It’s so exciting, I can’t stop screaming! I can’t think straight! Just do me a favor, look at the pictures below before I blow up!
This is Ruthie, she is beautiful! She has two outfits out, not including her meet outfit. I can’t speak much longer, so I have to do this fast.
Kit also has some new outfits out, and they are the floral print dress, and a striped nightie. The floral print dress includes:
. A sleeveless floral dress her mother made from a chicken-feed sack
. A flower barrette for her hair
. Mary Jane shoes with scalloped details
With the nightie, there are slippers and a headband.
This is Ruthie’s pink satin pajamas. I wish I had a pair! It includes slippers and a polka-dot sash.
Ruthie also has a play outfit. This is what it looks like. It includes:
. A periwinkle top with tan accents at the neckline and cuffs
. Tan twill knickers with a belt at the waist
. Patterned knee socks and two-tone oxford shoes
. A matching felted hat trimmed with ribbon and flowers
These are Ruthie’s accessories. The accessories include
. A black purse with a front pocket and silver clasp
. A pretty hankie printed with flowers
. Two rose-shaped barrettes to style her hair
. A pretend watch with hands that “move” — a special gift from her father

American girl has made many new things this year…. another new thing that they now have is called frame puzzles.
Frame puzzles are puzzles that have three pictures of the same American girl and also have a backround to go with the puzzles.
So far American girl has made Addy, Felicity, Julie, and Samantha frame puzzles. Kirsten, Molly, Kit, Josefina, and Kaya frame puzzles are expected in June.
American Girl Can’t Seem To Wait
Even though it is only the beginning of the new year, 2008, American girl has already started planning for the girl of the year 2009! They just can’t seem to wait can they? Well anyway the good thing is… we get some very early news! It seems as though the author of the girl of the year 2009 will be Mary Casanova, who also wrote the Jess books (girl of the year 2006) for American girl. If any more information comes out we will be sure to let you know. This information was found at Doll Diaries. Not American girl: I found a website called Free Rice, where you try to define a word and if you get it right 20 grains of rice goes to people who need food, try it sometime.
Julie’s New Outfits
Before I thought that Julie would get more outfits in December, well I was off be two months… Julie has two more outfits and some accessories now and I like them a lot.

American Girl Doll: Ruthie Smithens
News just in! Ruthie, Kit’s best friend, will be out in May 2008! She will be the fourteenth doll in American Girl! What a good way to start off 2008 knowing this exciting news!
